Recently had my infected wisdom surgically removed. The team made me feel extremely at ease. The procedure was done under sedation, which put me at ease.
Dr Kanowitz also managed to give me a call back on a Sunday, prior to my appointment, which was great because I didn’t know what else to do it who to go to as everyone is usually closed on Sundays.

Dr. Colin Kanowitz qualified as a Dental Surgeon in 1981 obtaining an award for “the best dental student in the year”.
Dr. Kanowitz received the “best all round dental student of class 1981”, obtaining 5 distinctions in Oral Surgery, Orthodontics, Oral Pathology, Community Dentistry & Radiology.
Dr. Colin Kanowitz received a gold medal for the student with the highest marks in Oral Pathology.
After obtaining his degree at the University of Pretoria, South Africa, Dr. Kanowitz spent two years in the defence force as a General Dental Surgeon; working alongside & with Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons
In 1998, he moved to Australia with his wife and children.
Since May 2000, Dr. Kanowitz has been providing a quality Dental & Facial Aesthetic services from his practice in Hornsby, Sydney’s Upper North Shore. It didn’t take long for him to gain a reputation for being able to put the most terrified patient at ease and to make a visit to the dentist a pleasant experience both for adults and children alike. Dr Kanowitz regularly partakes in conferences & meetings, thus ensuring he is kept up to date with only the best techniques.
