Micro Needling (FA)

The Procedure
The preparation and treatment will take about two hours. A topical anesthetic is first applied to the skin to reduce any discomfort. Once this has taken full effect, a microneedling device; Dermapen, is used to create small pin pricks evenly across your skin. Recovery time is minimal.
You may experience some skin irritation and redness within the first few days following the procedure. However, your skin will work fairly quickly to rejuvenate new tissue. Results can usually be seen within a couple of weeks.
To maintain effective results of Micro Needling, you’ll need multiple sessions. Dr Kanowitz will advise you on the plan of treatment, based on your individual goals.
